Barley Rise Holiday Lodge with views over fields of Cows and sheep with fresh eggs available from our own Chickens.   Weekend Breaks, visiting friends and family or just need a holiday.   We are your perfect location in the village of Kelsall, Cheshire  set in the heart of the countryside, yet only 7 miles from Chester city centre.

The lodge has views over farm land and is away from roads so offers a quiet retreat perfect to just relax.  However being only 7 miles from Chester City Centre and central to cheshire an ideal base to explore Cheshire and the North West.  Barley Lodge is the perfect holiday home in the country and more.

Barley Lodge holiday Lodge is fitted to a high standard offering a feature wood burning stove, which gives a warm homely feel, modern fully equipped fitted kitchen , luxury bathroom with spacious walk in shower and a full size bath.   3 bedrooms – Double, Twin and a single,  which will accommodate up to 5 people plus a cot available on request.     Private Patio / garden   overlooking sheep fields and pony paddock.

Free wifi  and  smart TV means that you can stay connected and also have access to all the entertainment you require.  The holiday home has electric panel radiators and electric costs are included together with a plentiful supply of top quality logs for the wood burning stove.

Well behaved pets are also welcome, please be aware that we have sheep, horses and dogs.   Stables are available for hire meaning that your horse or pony can come too.

Located next door to the Weetwood Ales , kelsall’s own microbrewery –  beer sampling is definitely recommended.  Beer can be bought directly from the brewery during working hours.

Kelsall has several pubs in the village and all serve good quality food and are within a mile of Barley Lodge.   Some can be reached by footpath making it an altogether more enjoyable experience.

With lots of activities and places of interest close to Barley Lodge there is bound to be something for everyone.   From walks in the forest to track days at Oulton Park or take in some of the history of Cheshire at Beeston Castle or on the Chester city walls.  A few ideas of local places of interest are listed below.
